Larry W. Moore

Managing Member/Partner, Broadstone Media LLC

Publisher, Broadstone Books

As senior partner and co-founder of Broadstone Media LLC, Larry serves as the publisher of Broadstone Books, involved in all aspects of business operations including manuscript selection and editing, book design, promotion and fulfillment, accounting, and taking out the trash.

Stephanie Potter

Member/Partner, Broadstone Media LLC

Gallery Director, JCM Gallery

Stephanie is a professional artist and art educator. As a partner of the LLC she is responsible for business continuity. She serves as resident artist and design consultant for Broadstone Books, heading up the design team. She is also curator of the JCM Gallery, the visual arts arm of the company.

Sheila Bucy Potter

Editor-in-Chief, Broadstone Books

As our editor-in-chief, Sheila is primarily responsible for the literary operation of Broadstone, working with other editors to select manuscripts for publication, and for working with authors to finalize their manuscripts.

Morgan Saylor

Business Manager & Marketing Director, Broadstone Media LLC

Morgan is a marketing professional with a background in the financial, real estate, and health services industries. She brings that expertise to her position as our business manager and marketing director, working with the rest of our team to produce marketing content to assist our authors in promoting their books. She advises on all aspects of print and on-line promotion. In her capacity as business manager, she leads the transition of the company to a collaborative team-based operation and works to ensure business continuity.

Alison Palmer

Editor, Broadstone Books

Alison is a poet and free-lance literary professional. She received her MFA in Poetry from Washington University in St. Louis, and she was awarded the Emma Howell Memorial Poetry Prize from Oberlin College where she graduated with a BA in Creative Writing. She also studied Poetry through Syracuse University in Florence, Italy. At Broadstone she is responsible for consulting on manuscript acquisition, editing manuscripts, producing book synopses and other promotional materials, and consulting on social media. Together with Sam Ratcliffe she developed and hosts the Poets Speak with Broadstone Books podcast series.

Jeremy Wooldridge

Design Associate, Broadstone Books

Jeremy is a graphic design and marketing professional, working with the design team to create original artwork, prepare covers and texts of our books for printing, and create additional promotional materials.

Daisy Barrett

Social Media & Communications intern, Broadstone Books

Daisy is a senior at Frankfort High School (showing her Panther Pride in her photo) and joins us through their Work Study program. In coordination with Morgan and Sam, she is leading the effort to expand our social media presence, including developing and producing a weekly Instagram program of capsule book reviews featuring the office cat, DeeCee.

Lisa Lowry

Business Consultant, Broadstone Media LLC

With professional experience as a librarian, corporate lawyer, and in healthcare, Lisa brings a wide range of business and life experience to her role as consultant for operations and continuity of the LLC.

Samantha Ratcliffe

Social Media & Communications Editor, Broadstone Books

Sam is an author, educator, and singer-songwriter currently pursuing her MFA at the University of Kentucky. She brings a wealth of life and work experience to her capacity as the social media and communications editor for Broadstone Books, producing and directing social media content and other promotional materials including co-hosting the Poets Speak with Broadstone Books podcast series. She also consults on manuscript acquisition and assists with editing while understudying all aspects of the publishing operation.

Ashley Johnson

Lead Designer, Broadstone Books

Ashley holds a BFA in studio art from Transylvania University. A professional artist since her teens, she works with the design team to create original artwork, prepare covers and texts of our books for printing, and produce marketing and promotional materials. In addition she is our lead liaison with Amazon, responsible for posting our titles on their site.

DeeCee

Office Cat, Broadstone Books

An essential member of our team, DeeCee (aka “Downtown Cat”) is best known for photo-bombing all of our Zoom events and meetings. Her duties include making sure that no pens remain unattended or unchewed on desktops, and most importantly for occupying laps to enforce frequent breaks. She is the star of our Instagram book review series developed by Daisy.
